Dhurringile Prison

Integrity was appointed to fitout the new Administration Wing at the Dhurringile Prision about 160km from Melbourne. We worked in conjunction with Hansen Yuncken, the builder and project manager for this development.

We designed and installed ‘team’ clusters of workstations for the Administration Department. We also created storage facilities for the space, which is an essential element to any functional and busy work space. Integrity Office fully furnished ten management offices, four meeting rooms and large storage archive shelving for all the necessary prison records and legal information.

For the team at Integrity Office, design was an essential element to this fitout, in order to provide the prison with a balanced mix of private office space and meeting rooms, as well as open plan design. For the open plan space, we understood Dhurringile’s Administration Department desired a friendly, modern feel, which simultaneously served the prison’s practical needs and ensured complete security in a minimum security prison complex.

We designed a staff breakout area with a functional and stylish kitchen, modular tables and comfortable chairs. We provided the front reception area with a reception desk and counter and a bench seating area. This achieved a modern, light and clean look, which when combined with the polished concrete floors and lightly coloured walls, achieved something special.
